Zoom develops glitch’s, live meeting disrupts; issue resolved
The popularity of Zoom reaches its tipping point in providing the Video conferencing services with high acceptability in compare to any other OEMs. It went down early yesterday.
When zooming down due to a bug, users around the world suddenly became unable to attend live meetings. As a result, the issue confused many online classes and workplace meetings, and the company also acknowledged it on its official Twitter handle.
Zoom acknowledged the issue on its official Twitter handle. The statement states: “We are aware of a subset of customers who have encountered an error while attending a live meeting. We are currently investigating and will provide you with the latest information.” At 2:44 pm IST, the company then said, “Live meetings. Resolved an issue where some customers were getting errors while attending.
A private bug prevented users from attending live meetings. As a result, most users were able to log in to their respective Zoom accounts and start meetings, but participants were unable to join meetings that were already considered live. This prevented multiple workplace meetings and online classes from being held.
This issue has been fixed and the official Zoom Down Status Detection site now shows that all Conferencing Tools services are running in the portal. The same is backed up by DownDetector, a downtime tracker for third-party websites. This tracker gradually reduces the number of reports on zoom-down issues.
We will continue to monitor and provide updates as we have them," the platform said in an update. In India, users in Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru reported the maximum cases of outage on Zoom, a report said.
