In a chat with VARINDIA, Akash Nangia, Director, Techjockey.com talks abot the trends, products, success mantra etc.
What are the mega key trends that define the industry that you are a part of at present?
Indian SMBs has been featured at number nine in Top 10 IDC-Cisco digital maturity index 2019, thanks to the rapid digitalization and an improved internet access. As digital transformation is becoming the priority for SMBs, we are helping them get the best business automation technologies online.
Cloud computing is further evolving the tech ecosystem for SMBs and enabling them to leverage the power of computation. Through our platform, small businesses are being able to access storage, networking, servers, virtualization and other computing resources on the cloud. And all of this is possible for small enterprises without spending a fortune!
What has been your top trending (market pull) products/solutions/services of your company this year?
Accounting Software for small & medium business type is topping our charts. Next, we have seen an increase in demand for Office solutions (like Microsoft Office365, Antivirus, Project Management, etc.) among start-ups and small businesses. Also, business specific solutions like software for Petrol Pumps or software for Retail Shops (POS) has shown a drastic increase in the last year.
Consequently, the number of orders has increased from around 120 transactions in the second quarter of 2018 to around 610 customer demands already fulfilled in the Q2 of 2019, and we’re still counting!
Please share the success mantra of your organization and your major achievements in the year 2018-19.
Unlike a regular IT reseller, our success mantra is simple – it’s not enough to simply close the sale. We believe in creating a more fulfilling ecosystem around our customers that addresses the modern-day business needs.

Have you signed any new customers this year? Which vertical is growing for you at present?
We have served the software needs of more than 8300 SMB customers till now, who range from small and mid-sized businesses to large enterprises. There’s an increasing demand for software solutions in the retail. Technology is helping retailers address their customer expectations better. The next is ITES, as the popularity of cloud computing among businesses continue to grow.
