Brief about the company
I started Kamalveer Systems as a business out of a small office in the year 2000. We essentially sold assembled systems to individual customers. In 2001, we started focusing on educational institutes and recruited sales and service teams. We offered these institutions with hardware and after sales services by deploying onsite engineers.
Kamalveer Systems is now an ISO certified company and a system integrator partner that offers an entire range of IT products and services. We have traversed an enriching journey of more than two decades and have emerged as one of the largest IT Infrastructure Solution providers supporting customers from small and medium businesses to blue chip clients and providing a specialist service for the educational institutes.
We provide Customized IT Support Solutions to fit your business and pocket. IT support services are required to build a robust system, control maintenance costs, improve end-user experience and upgrade hardware and software to facilitate responsiveness. Also, our value-based services come with innovative thoughts to provide the best solution to the customer needs.
What are the key verticals and drivers for business growth?
Our key verticals are SMB, Large enterprise, Education and Global Customers. We focus on the requirements and expectations of our customers and strive to exceed them so as to provide world-class products and services through continuous innovations and improvement of our products and services.
Majority of our potential customers are in the SMB segment. In the large enterprise segment, we position all the IT products from cabling, networking, desktops, laptops, servers’ storage and services and also provide the services accordingly in all the areas. We began our association with Lenovo in the year 2005 and since then we have focused only on Lenovo Products like Desktops, Laptops, Servers etc.
Lastly, in the Education & Global segment we provide a full array of IT infrastructure solutions, including initial planning and need analysis, product integration, network implementation and support end-to-end infrastructure Management services.
What kind of services and solutions are provided to the customers? Is there a higher preference for a particular service or solution by them?
The services and solutions that we provide our customers include - Onsite Engineer Support, Customer Site Survey, Hardware and Software Configuration, Equipment Racking, Onsite system installation, Upgrades etc.
During the pandemic we saw a growth in demand for hardware products and online support and services from customers. These included support with data migration, wan configuration, printer installation etc. Services like Lenovo Premier Support & Onsite Installation along with extended warranty support were also essential during this period. We provided complete end-to-end solutions to our customers. Also, with companies shifting to a remote working environment, clients were looking for more service offerings along with the laptop. The Lenovo services portfolio was perfect for our clients
What is the most preferred brand/product by the customers? Mention any customer trends in the last few months.
We have been exclusively selling only Lenovo products since 2005 and our customers also tend to prefer this brand. However during the pandemic due to a shortage of products, we also sold other brands. The demand for Work from Home laptops was tremendous due to the pandemic. Lenovo restored its supply for these products sooner than the other brands. Additionally, our customers, IT workforce and admin teams were under tremendous pressure to maintain business continuity during the pandemic & post pandemic period. We offered them end-to-end solutions, along with Lenovo Premier Support and Lenovo Device Intelligence (LDI) Solutions.
What are the technology trends to look out for in the SMB segment?
The main trend to focus on in the SMB segment is Services. The onset of the pandemic has seen a huge rise in the requirement for various service offerings. Cloud solutions & Software as service is also booming among SMB clients as it reduces capital investment. During the time of the pandemic, we saw the opportunity to shift our customers to SAAS model/Cloud solutions and foresee a big leap in this direction. As a way ahead, we are targeting the SMB segment for expansion of business & trying to position the best possible solutions as per our customers’ expectations.
How was the digital transformation journey and how has it aided the employees and customers?
The IT industry has been witnessing increased complexity in today’s products. The hardware and software support centers have grown in number to solve the various issues. In this global practice, Kamalveer Systems is ahead of many other service providers. Backed by reliable asset management and proactive support, we provide round the clock services to our customers. Our rendering solution design and professional service across Server, Data, Storage, Video and Security verticals has enabled us to reach a wide range of customers.
As security has been a major concern of the IT industry, we offered Lenovo solutions such as Managed Services, Lenovo Device Intelligence that gives IT teams the tools to predict, diagnose, and prevent common PC health and performance problems, at scale, improving employee uptime and productivity.
