WD introduces 4TB "My Book" Hard Drive with 3 Years Warranty

Western Digital (WD) has announced the availability of desktop hard drive "My Book" with a storage capacity of 4TB. The hard drive featuring the USB 3.0 interface is designed for storing large files such as High Definition (HD) content.
My Book is made compatible with Mac and PC operating systems, offering a cost-per-gigabyte proposition for daily storage needs such as backup, extending a machine’s storage to tackle HD content, family albums and entire music libraries.
The hard drive includes features such as WD SmartWare software for automatic backup requirements and WD Security feature that allows consumers to secure both drive and data against unauthorized access with password protection and hardware encryption.
The WD My Book 4TB is available at electronic retailers at an MSRP of Rs.14,999 plus taxes and 3 years limited onsite warranty. These desktop hard drives are also available in 2TB and 3TB capacities at an MSRP of Rs.9,999 and Rs.7,999 plus taxes, respectively.
