Warner Bros. Discovery and Disney announce a combined streaming bundle
Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery announced a joint streaming bundle that would include Disney+, Hulu, and Max. It is scheduled for release in the summer. The bundle's price will be disclosed, and it will include both ad-supported and ad-free alternatives. Access to a wide range of programming from ABC, TNT, and Discovery Channel is available to subscribers, which is a big step forward in the changing Television landscape.
The exact pricing details are yet to be disclosed. Under this agreement, Disney will manage distribution and share a portion of subscription revenues with Warner Bros. Discovery.
In addition to the entertainment bundle, Warner Bros. Discovery and Disney's ESPN are teaming up with Fox Corp. to launch a sports streaming service this fall. Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch hinted at this development during a recent earnings call, suggesting that it might be included in future entertainment streaming bundles. However, ESPN+ is not part of the newly announced Warner Bros. Discovery and Disney bundle.
