Vodafone unveils Mobile Workforce Essentials for productive field force in enterprises

Vodafone Business Services (VBS), the enterprise arm of Vodafone India, has announced a new addition to its CloudStore portfolio and introduced “Mobile Workforce Essentials”, a cloud-based business application suite that empowers enterprises to get the most out of their field force.

According to the company, Mobile Workforce Essentials increase productivity and accountability with job order dispatching, GPS tracking, timekeeping, and employee attendance modules, Enhance efficiency with Wireless Forms and packed with smart features like Photo Capture, Calculations and emails for digital receipts.

Its simple self-service web-based setup process ensures easy manageability. The cloud based app is also easy to buy, deploy and manage via the Vodafone CloudStore marketplace

One of the early customers of Mobile Workforce Essentials is a major state’s Election Commission which deployed the solution during a recently concluded state assembly elections. Vodafone has partnered with ActSoft, a leading field-force management application vendor, to launch Mobile Workforce Essentials in the Indian market.
