VMware India appoints Ramkumar Narayanan as new R&D Site Leader

VMware announced the appointment of Ramkumar Narayanan as the Vice President and Managing Site Director, India. In his new role, Ramkumar will be heading VMware’s R&D Center in India.
Niranjan Maka, Vice President (Global Sites R&D and IoT Engineering) said, “We are delighted to have Ram onboard the VMware team. As an engineering industry veteran with experience as technology advisor to large and small enterprises he will play a crucial role in driving VMware India’s innovation and growth in the years to come.”
Based out of Bangalore, Ramkumar Narayanan is a global leader focusing on data driven, digital product innovation spanning consumer and enterprise markets. Before joining VMware, he was the General Manager of eBay Product Development Center, India and Global Head of Monetization Products, responsible for generating the revenues for eBay. Prior to joining eBay, Ramkumar Narayanan was the Vice President of Global Product Management in Yahoo where he was accountable for leading Product Management, Product Marketing and User Experience Design globally covering Search, Commerce, Advertising, Small Business and Emerging Markets.
