Vivo launches Y55s Smartphone

Vivo has launched Y55s smartphone. The device is in line with the Vivo’s brand philosophy “Camera and Music”. Priced at Rs.12,490, the all-new Y55s has since been made available in crown gold and space grey across the country from 26th February, 2017.
The newly-launched device, an upgraded version of Y55L (launched in October 2016), sets the bar high with a faster RAM, a smooth user interface and a long battery life. Armed with 13MP rear camera, the device has been exclusively designed to complement the preferences of tech-savvy customers and camera lovers. It is equipped with three card slots that accord more flexibility to customers.
Y55s, the 4G LTE-enabled smartphone features a 13.22cm (5.2”) HD display and a1,280x720-pixel resolution. Powered by Snapdragon 425 processor and paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM, the device runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Y55s also features a 5MP front camera and a 2.5D curved screen. Additionally, it is equipped with three card slots: with the third slot supporting an external memory of 256GB and an improved 2,730mAH battery.
The “Smart Screen-Split” feature allows users to multi-task without having to switch back and forth every time a message pops up. Users can chat and watch videos simultaneously on one screen without causing strain to the eyes with the “Eye Protection Mode”.
