Vishal Sikka may join HPE as CTO

It’s only been one week that Vishal Sikka stepped down from the position of CEO and Managing Director of Infosys and remained in the company as Executive Vice-Chairman. But as fate has decided, he resigned from that position with immediate effect.
But as per news sources, Vishal Sikka may join Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) as a CTO.
Since last year, after the resignation of Martin Fink from the position of CTO of HPE, the position has been vacant. It is rumoured that Sikka has been offered the position by the American firm. He is a doctorate in artificial intelligence from Stanford. Prior to joining Infosys, he served SAP as a CTO.
If rumours are to be believed, it would be a significant move for both HPE and Vishal Sikka. Sikka helped Infosys to move up the value chain with greater emphasis on AI with the NIA platform. Automation was at the centre of his plan to transform the country's second-largest IT company.
