Virtusa’s Hyderabad Campus contributes to a greener planet

Virtusa Corporation has announced that it has been awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) India “Gold” rating by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) for its Hyderabad campus in India.
Virtusa is honoured to be recognized by the IGBC for our focus on environmentally-friendly operations. The LEED India Gold rating of our Hyderabad campus will inspire us to achieve further in reducing our carbon footprint. This recognition supports our ‘Code Green’ environment initiative which advocates sustainability and promotes a greener future, said Samir Dhir, Executive Vice-President, Chief Delivery Officer & Head of India Operations, Virtusa Corporation.
The Virtusa Hyderabad campus was constructed with a holistic approach to sustainability, concentrating on areas such as water efficiency and harvesting, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, and indoor environmental quality. This award is an acknowledgement of our focus and commitment towards sustainable business practices, said Praveen Upadhyay, Head of Facilities and Administration, Hyderabad, Virtusa Corporation.
According to Virtusa, this recognition is a testament to its effort to reduce environmental footprint.
