“Cloud computing has slowly gaining momentum, which a few years back was still a buzzword. Another dimension of this technology has stated picking up, which is edge computing. And along with it various other technologies like AI, 5G, and Robotics are picking up. This is giving rise to a lot of localized solutions which we as a company are really bullish about.
This has become a critical part of our business in India, especially in the areas of warehousing, manufacturing, healthcare towards which we are aligning our products. We also see a lot of processes being automated – like decision making is becoming faster because of the amount of work that is going into artificial intelligence as a technology. Also we are seeing a lot of interfaces getting created between the user and technology and we as a company proudly become a part of it, if not supporting it directly but passively. For instance, whenever a datacenter is created, Vertiv applications like power, cooling, infrastructure management solutions, smart solutions are integrated.”
