Vantika Agrawal clinches silver at World Chess Championship
Vantika Agrawal ( Women International Master) has won the Silver medal at the World Youth Championship in under 18 Girls category, held in Mumbai from 2nd Oct to 12th Oct ‘2019 and made the entire nation proud. During the last round she made draw otherwise Vantika would have won Gold. In a span of eight years, the 17-year-old has gone from strength to strength and has achieved the prestigious Woman International Master (WIM) title along with two Woman Grandmaster (WGM) norms (as of August 2019).
Recently she secured the 2nd Position in one of the most prestigious championships, the 46th National Women Chess championship held at Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu in July 2019 and even won silver at the Asian Junior Championship held at Solo in Indonesia in July 2019 & Western Asian Junior Chess championship held in Delhi in Sep 2019.
Vantika is studying in the 12th Grade at Amity International School ,Noida .
She has already 2 Women Grand Master (WGM) Norms.
