Vans Group partners with YNOS Venture Engine

Ex Ola Advisor Dr. Srinivas Chunduru announced that the company Vans Group (Vans Investments and Vans Skilling) has entered into a partnership agreement with YNOS Venture Engine, an Incubatee of IIT Madras Incubation Cell to strengthen its offerings for the early stage startups.

Vans Skilling & Advisory partners with organizations in their growth journeys through its unique "Interim model" (Meraki) and "Academy model" (recruit, train and deploy) and co-owns the outcome of business through rigour in execution. The partnership with YNOS will further enhance the company’s advisory services.

Thillai Rajan A., Professor IIT Madras and Founder and Director of YNOS Venture Engine said “Entrepreneurship has emerged an important focus area in business curricula and education. The partnership between Vans Group and YNOS would help the business school students and faculty in understanding various aspects of the start-up landscape in the country, viz., funding trends, prominent business models, valuation, prominent competitors, background of start-up founders, and so on. Familiarity with the latest trends in start-up landscape would help the students to understand the ground realities, which can be used to augment their classroom learning. Students would also be able to use the analytical results in their capstone projects. Further students who opt to participate in the Clarity program to understand the nuances of venture fund raising would be eligible to get a certificate from the Centre for Continuing Education, IIT Madras. Going beyond business schools, the partnership with Vans Group will help in enhancing the reach of the YNOS platform to early stage entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs could benefit from a variety of solutions such as investor discovery, understanding the start-up landscape, estimating valuation, and accessing top notch experts in science and technology to strengthen their innovation.”

Vans group has also recently signed with Crowdera, a Singapore based Fintech Company as Chief Advisor- Strategic Alliances; and Strategic Advisors with Snackamor, a leading health food company and Successroute LLP, a leading boutique investment banking firm.

Vans Group is founded by Dr. Srinivas Chunduru (Dr. Srini), who has previously served two decades at the Piramal Group in various leadership positions including Group CHRO, business head and Executive Director at Piramal housing finance. In his last stint, he was a Senior Advisor for ride-hailing company Ola and has played the role of interim group CHRO and CEO of Ola Skilling (OSPL).
