The nine-month programme is an intensive course specially planned and designed for qualified engineering graduates. It aims to enhance the knowledge, understanding and ability of the students to apply the skills of engineering more effectively across a variety of significant roles in construction organizations.
This programme will commence in mid-February and conclude by mid-November and will be delivered full time at Unitec’s Auckland campus.
David Nummy, Associate Dean: Strategic Development, Faculty of Technology and Built Environment, Unitec Institute of Technology, said, “International students can choose to graduate in a range of programs at Unitec, New Zealand. This course has been specially introduced, keeping in mind the growing demands in the work market. It is a specialized course with an emphasis on application along with the advantage of students gaining expertise on live projects.”
The programme will be delivered through various modules with assessments created on construction-based projects with emphasis on the development of problem evaluation skills and the ability to generate solutions to unfamiliar and complex problems.
