TTBS ensures uninterrupted connectivity during cyclone Yaas
Tata Tele Business Services (TTBS) has set-up a war room to promptly respond to potential business operational disruptions due to the impact of cyclone Yaas which is likely to hit the coastal areas of West Bengal and Odisha over the next 24 hours.
This dynamic war room is being managed by specialized technical teams who are monitoring the situation closely to gather as much information as possible on the sites which are prone to any probable disruptions. On-ground Quick Response Teams (QRTs) have been aligned and mobilized to take swift and informed decisions during the impending calamity.
TTBS has taken vital precautionary measures to ensure network connectivity is not disrupted, these include - critical equipment spares stocked up at the core switching hub, enough fuel reserves maintained to run DG in case of power outages, additional mobile DG and vehicles stationed at key locations, safety drills conducted, and field staff equipped with safety gear etc.
A company spokesperson further adds, “The safety of our field staff and seamless connectivity of our services is our utmost priority. Basis technical inputs, we are taking all the required pre-emptive measures to reduce any anticipated interruptions to minimal levels. Additionally, we are in touch with the local administration for carrying out coordinated efforts during the cyclone. We are also reaching out to all our enterprise customers to apprise them of the situation and assuring them of our dedicated support round the clock.”
