Truecaller announces enhanced version of the app
Truecaller has announced the launch of the new Truecaller on Google Play. The new update focusses on predictive style features, which suggests who to contact based on call history, time of day, and place, making it convenient.
Truecaller aims to solve a huge pain point for billions of consumers who use their phonebook on a daily basis, but often need to go outside of their app to find useful information they need. Similar to how Google has been able to combine information and intelligence, Truecaller uses its proprietary search technology and social graph, and combines it with hundreds of different sources such as Yelp! and social networks to create a smarter way for users to access current information across all social channels, platforms and devices.
The app has been fully redesigned to provide easier discovery and simpler navigation, and rebuilt to make it much lighter in terms of memory consumption.
“This is the first step we are taking to make Truecaller more intelligent and personal. We have made these advancements to save time for our users and make their lives less complicated when they want to get in touch with someone. Our ambition is to make your mobile phone smarter and become part of your mobile daily habits,” said Alan Mamedi, Co-Founder & CEO, Truecaller.
Truecaller 5.0 is available for Android only at the moment and is free to download from Google Play. The Truecaller app is also available on iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and Nokia feature phones. Additionally, the free Truedialer app is available on Android and Windows Phone.
