Indian metro transportation segment is on Fastrack and progressing nonstop. It is uniquely positioned and well balanced between operational routes, under construction lanes, approved and proposed metro maps of India. Despite of covid conditions and lockdowns, metro segment is probably one of the very few that grew amid uncertainties. With over 20 cities of India are covered under the ambitious plan of this segment is watch out for.

Mero landscape is very unique and has a profound influence on other growth contributors. Commercial developments, adaptation of technology, IoT, commercial establishments at stations and real estate. Often it is seen as a link and major contributor to the sustenance of few other segments apart from generating employment.

Backed by Govt’s ambitious plans and commitment to continue investments this segment is for a very long haul. It is also very exciting to note the emergence of high-speed tracks, dedicated corridors and connectivity to major airports from the city centre, all of them have a common objective of saving time & usage of renewable energy for a greener economy.

Overall transportation segment it is one of special verticals in India that survived most of the odds and now poised for an unmatched growth. Challenges are many, yet the growth prospects are promising.
