TP-LINK continues lead in Global WLAN Market, says IDC
According to the IDC Worldwide Quarterly WLAN Tracker – 2013 Q1 Final Release, it has been revealed that TP-LINK has continued to maintain a dominant lead in global WLAN market share rankings by units shipped. With a 42.29% share of the WLAN market, based on products shipped, TP-LINK has taken the lead in the first quarter of 2013 over competing vendors, with more shipment volume than the next two leading vendors combined.
Having gained a total market share of 34.86 per cent in 2012, the company has continued to make impressive gains in 2013.
Since entering the international market in 2005, TP-LINK has been focussed exclusively on the networking industry. As reported by IDC, large investments into R&D and strict quality control have allowed the company to provide networking devices of the highest quality.
