Togofogo enters refurbished laptop market in India

Togofogo has added another product category on its platform – Refurbished Laptops. With the new product category, the company aims to capture 8-10% share in the market.

Having successfully sold 3,50,000 units of refurbished mobile phones in the Indian market, the company now targets the second-largest category in the refurbished market, after mobiles. The laptops being sold on Togofogo include Quality Check, Certification, Extended Warranty, and Repair Services, maintaining the uniqueness of the platform.

With the integration of the array of services provided by Togofogo, the listed refurbished laptops are almost like new ones but with a price difference that makes all the differences. To begin with, Togofogo would be selling laptops of top brands on its website.

Commenting on the development, Soumitra Gupta, CEO, Togofogo, says, “E-Commerce industry in India is witnessing a promising customer-demand not just for refurbished smartphones but across categories with a major chunk contributed by laptops. Having created a niche in the market of refurbished mobile phones with 35% share in the online market, we now aim to significantly capture the market for refurbished laptops in India. By the next quarter, we also plan to enable our customers to directly sell their old laptops on Togofogo.”

Togofogo is a one-stop shop for its customers providing multiple services. It has recently integrated a new service on its platform – “Sell your Phone” – where customers can directly sell their old phones for the best possible price. With this, the company aims to channelize the unorganized market for used phones in India.
