Three Ireland and Tech Mahindra open customer service centre
Three Ireland’s new customer service centre in Waterford was officially opened by Robert Finnegan, CEO, Three Ireland, and C.P. Gurnani, CEO & Managing Director, Tech Mahindra, at a ceremony attended by employees, senior management teams from both companies and local elected representatives.
Tech Mahindra currently provides customer care services for Three’s consumer customers as well as various backoffice services. The new centre in Waterford will bolster Three’s operations and help deliver market-leading support and services to its customers.
Tech Mahindra, a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering solutions, has set up the centre with a view to strategically position presence in Ireland with a prime focus on the telecommunications, financial services, energy, utilities and pharmaceutical sectors. The company plans to leverage the skills and talent pool available in Ireland to grow its business across these sectors in the region.
Commenting on the opening, Sujit Baksi, Chief Executive, Business Services Group, Tech Mahindra, said, “This deal with Three Ireland is strategically placed to help Tech Mahindra grow its market share in Ireland, servicing not only Irish customers but enabling its global partners and customers to see the value of this Centre, its growth potential and the value which this location will bring.”
