The pandemic has compelled IT leaders and businesses to shift to new ways of working and reconsider how they operate, innovate and empower employees working from home. In this post pandemic world, many organisations are still attempting to figure out what their future hybrid work model will look like.
Key trends of a future workplace
Organisations are continuing to look for solutions that provide a single, portable, and secure online digital identity for each team member, allowing expanded access to corporate systems, information, data, and applications across business entities. Online collaboration tools have become increasingly sophisticated since the pandemic, and hybrid mutlicloud infrastructures have largely supported this. A great strategy for business has been the shift to ‘Everything as a Service’ model, which means that every organisation can figure out what works for them, and also stay flexible to the needs of their people without expensive vendor lock-ins.
The future of work will no doubt continue to evolve based on the needs of clients, employers and employees. Regardless of how it evolves, hybrid multicloud will remain a great asset for empowering and engaging the workforce while providing flexibility, security and efficiency throughout the business.
