Tenable appoints Diwakar Dayal as MD for India
Tenable has appointed Diwakar Dayal as managing director for India and SAARC. Dayal spent eight years at Cisco, laying the foundation for the Indian security business and building the vendor’s cybersecurity sales team for four years, before accepting the role of the security channel leader.
Dayal started his career at Wipro Infotech before moving on to work in various IT and security-related positions at Sify, Dimension Data, Juniper Networks before moving to Cisco in 2010 as a country leader – security business group (India and SAARC).
Via a social media post, Dayal has shown his gratitude to his security partners, customers and the Cisco team as they made him run a truly memorable one.
Dayal will now be tasked with expanding security specialist Tenable’s presence across India and SAARC.
Dayal is thrilled to have come on board at Tenable as the managing director for India & SAARC, to expand the company’s presence in one of the fastest-growing security markets in the world. For him, cyber exposure is an emerging discipline for managing and measuring cybersecurity risk.
