At the event, the Chief Guest of the evening, Avnees Vats, Deputy General Manager (IT), Energy Efficiency Services Ltd. said, “I came in touch with this forum around a year back. We have a close group and are helping each other for various technical solutions, support for IT fraternity etc. The forum has arranged an award event last year and around 50-60 people attended the event. Though we keep on interacting with each other on multiple platforms and different forums, the idea was to meet everyone in person at an informal event like this. On this platform CIOs will interact with each other, share new ideas etc. I would like to thank TekQ Forum to have provided me the opportunity to become the chief guest of the event. It was really very interactive, informative and a pleasant evening. We are also planning to help the society and the nation at various levels, which would be totally voluntary in nature.”
Talking about the forum, Ashwani Chopra, Deputy Director – IT, All India Management Association (AIMA) says, “I warmly welcome all the CIOs who are a part of this event. TekQ Global CIO Forum was formed three years back; we have earlier conducted such an event in Mumbai and this is the first time that we are conducting here in Delhi. We knew each other who are a part of the forum but we did not meet each other in person earlier. The main purpose of the event is to meet each other and also celebrate our third anniversary of TekQ Forum.”
