Tecno Mobile plans to launch smartphones with AI technology under sub-Rs.15K in India

Tecno Mobile, the Chinese smartphone company, now is entering into Artificial Intelligence (AI) dependent smartphone league with their upcoming Camon series smartphone.
Tecno Mobile is expected to launch their AI-enabled Selfie-centric Camon series smartphone in India by the end of this month under the Rs.15K category. The main highlight of upcoming Camon-series smartphone will be its AI-enabled Selfie camera. The smartphone will utilize the AI technology to give the best and good-looking Selfie images in the day and night time and automatically detect lighting condition and facial features on a real time.
The device is also suggested to sport fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature with the Camon series in portfolio. Tecno aims to be among the Top 5 smartphone brands in India by the end of 2018. Tecno is product- and consumer-focused company and the key focus area central to Tecno India strategy for 2018 is “Camera-centric” smartphones lineup enabled with full view display that is 18:9 aspect ratio.

At present, the Tecno mobiles selling 3 Camon series smartphones in India, namely Camon I, Camon I Air and Camon iSky under the price range of Rs.7,499 to Rs.8,999, respectively. According to the Counterpoint recent report, the Tecno Smartphone registered 23% QoQ growth in Q1 2018. Techno mobiles has also become the official Smartphone Partner for Kings XI Punjab for IPL 2018 and it has also partnered with the leading telecom operator Vodafone to offer exciting cashback offers to its new buyers.
