TE Connectivity brings Quareo in India
TE Connectivity has introduced Quareo, a Connection Point Identification Technology, which provides unprecedented knowledge about the network including accurate documentation and reporting of changes, as well as enhanced security; Quareo enables higher network availability while lowering the network operating costs for a network, from the data center all the way to the desktop.
Quareo solutions are said to be based on microchips that are embedded in connectors of TE Connectivity's high-performance copper and fiber network cabling solutions. These microchips have information related to the cable itself as well as unique identifiers for each cable. Quareo PathManager software suite is able to have real time communication with each cable and network panel. This information is stored in the PathManager database and is then used to draw topology maps as well as integrate with industry applications.
It is claimed to be designed to accommodate applications from the most simple and smallest LAN environment, all the way to the densest and most highly complex data center environment.
