Tally Solutions has announced its plans to reach maximum SMEs across the state and provide support for a seamless transition to automation. The company focuses towards creating awareness amongst SMEs in India on technological solutions that can be optimally adopted to enhance their overall competitiveness. To accomplish this, Tally has begun several on-ground programs in and around Gwalior to explain the benefits of automation in daily business operations.
With an aim to create technical literacy amongst SMEs, the company is also actively educating the SMEs about the optimized ways of conducting the business through various industry associations, partner programs etc. the company also conducts regular events in business forums across regions and in associations with renowned Chartered Accountants.
Samir Dixit, Zonal Head- West, Tally Solutions says, “Automation has reached the inroads of many businesses across sectors and enterprise companies are using it for its advantage. The same needs to be replicated to the largest SME sector. We at Tally understand the nerve of SME businesses and hence take deep interest in providing them the best in class software to automate their daily operation. Our aim is to help and nurture the SME sector of the country and assist them in reaching their highest potential. Gwalior is one of the most prominent regions for us in the state. However, the region lacks technical know-how and has a traditional way of operation like manual billing, despite the growth opportunities to automation. Our intent is to reach over 10,000 SMEs in Gwalior by end of Year 2019 and focus on providing the simplest and most user-friendly software product that will change the way businesses are operating today. We believe that tax professionals have a key role to play in getting SMEs to digitize their accounts and we work closely with them in this regard. We are currently also working on a Key Account Manager model to address business queries and make the experience pleasant. In fact, our team meets customers on regular basis to understand their business and current usage to provide strategic insights.”
Madhya Pradesh constitutes of over 4 lakh GST registered businesses out of which over 3 lakh are mirco, small and medium enterprises. Gwalior itself constitutes toover 25,000 GST registered businesses and 18,000 SMEs, however, the adoption of automation inthe city for SMEs is only 20%and for micro and small businesses it is a mere 5%. With such a large base of companies operating in this sector and such low digitization, it is imperative to bring to light the key benefits automation can bring in for enhanced productivity.
With the new financial year approaching, several businesses plan to streamline their business operations for a bigger and better year. Hence, it becomes even more critical for them to realize the benefits digitization can bring to their daily operations. Along with better management of business data, automation can help with providing powerful business reports which can help business owners take decisions. To make them understand the business requirements and provide support for a seamless transition, Tally has a dedicated network of partners, resources and customer relation officers across the city. The brand is currently strongly present in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and further plans to reach taluka level for deeper penetration.
