TAKE’s Mobility Framework 3.0 gets certified integration with SAP applications

TAKE Solutions has announced that the TAKE Mobility Framework 3.0 (TMF) has achieved certified integration with SAP applications. TMF3.0 has been designed to integrate with the SAP ERP application, enabling customers to use multiple mobile technologies like Windows Phone, Android, iOS and industrial ruggedized HHT devices to execute transactions in SAP software.

The SAP Integration and Certification Centre has certified that TAKE Mobility Framework 3.0 integrates with SAP ERP 6.0, enhancement package 5 to exchange supply chain, manufacturing and plant maintenance data from SAP ERP through remote function and BAPI calls with SAP return parameters. As a result of the certified integration, TMF 3.0 will integrate with SAP ERP and the customer’s existing business applications to enable real-time retrieval and updates of data via mobile device. “We are delighted to announce the successful achievement of SAP certification for the TAKE Mobility Framework. The TMF enables customers to leverage their existing business assets, including SAP ERP and mobile technologies, and execute transactions in SAP software via mobile devices at the point of action. The TMF software also enforces the relevant business rules and controls,” said Govind Srinivasan, Vice-President – Delivery, Technology Group, TAKE Solutions. TMF has been used to build different applications, including material traceability, plant maintenance and mobile extensions, for warehouse management systems running SAP software. In addition, TAKE Solutions is also a SAP software solution and technology partner, under the SAP PartnerEdge program.
