Swipe launches Konnect 5.0

Armed with Rs 30 crore funding from Kalaari Capital in April 2014, Swipe has introduced a new series in SmartphoneFablets – The Swipe Konnect series. The First Smartphone Fablet in Swipe’s Konnect series is the fashionable Swipe Konnect 5.0Fablet. Swipe’s new Konnect series focuses on delivering great value by offering exciting features at an extremely competitive price of Rs. 8,999/-.

Under the Konnect Series, Swipe will rollout 10 innovative offerings in the Smartphone Fablet space within a quarter.

Featuring a rich connectivity suite, the Swipe Konnect 5.0 comes encased in a Super Slim body with a stylish matte finish. The Konnect 5.0 is ergonomically designed to fit into the contours of users’ hands, and at 135gmsis one of the lightest 5” SmartphoneFablets in the world.

The Konnect 5.0 has a 5” qHD IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor that can multitask effortlessly and a1 GB RAM enables smooth performance of the Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS on the device which is upgradable to the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat.

The Swipe Konnect 5.0 is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera, and it also comes with a 3.2 MP front camera for 3G video calling. The rear camera has an OV (OmniVision) sensor which significantly improves the camera’s resolution and picture quality. This Smartphone Fablet comes with 8 GB inbuilt memory, which can be expanded to 32 GB via an external SD card.
