Surat residents break China made LCD-TV into pieces to boycott Chinese product
A video has gone viral on various social media platforms, showing some housing society residents in Gujarat's Surat throwing off a China-made LCD TV from a building and later stepping on it, amid India-China face-off at Ladakh's Galwan Valley. "We hereby boycott all Chinese products," a society notice read. "We urge countrymen to follow the suit," a society resident said.
In an appeal to 'boycott Chinese products' a group of people in Surat were seen destroying a TV to bits and pieces as border tensions escalate between India and China.
The video received hilarious reactions from the Twitterati as one user wrote: "Arey gadho, (You fool,) you have to boycott those Chinese products for which you haven't yet bought. It doesn't affect China if you burn their products which you've already paid for. It's your own loss."
The incident took place after the Indo-China clash on Galwan Valley, Ladakh.
