Sudip Mazumder becomes Global Chief Digital and Information Officer of PGP Glass
PGP Glass has roped in Sudip Mazumder as the Global Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO). Sudip brings with him a wealth of experience to his new role.
As part of the Executive Leadership team, Mazumder will be responsible from strategy to operations of IT infrastructure, applications, enterprise architecture, digital, Industry 4.0, advanced data analytics, AI, Generative AI, information and cybersecurity and innovations to support the business growth.
Before joining PGP Glass, he served L&T where he was Head-Digital (Manufacturing and Infra Projects). Sudip was associated with PGP Glass as the CIO before he moved to L&T.
PGP Glass is owned by the Blackstone Group. In 2020, The Blackstone Group announced that it would acquire Piramal Glass for US$1 billion. In March 2021, the company was renamed to PGP Glass after the completion of the acquisition.
On the move back to PGP Glass, Sudip says, “This is an exciting time. PGP Glass, now Blackstone backed, is pushing its leadership further. AI and Generative AI technologies are being added to its deep digital investments to support the growth mindset.”
