IMC was the brainchild of Rajan Mathews, Director General of the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). The COAI, under the aegis of Department of Telecommunications, Government of India is organizing the 3rd edition of the “India Mobile Congress (IMC 2019)” from 14th to 16th October 2019, at Aerocity, New Delhi, where India will witness the mobile technology event of this magnitude.

IMC is considered South Asia’s largest digital technology forum with a total area of over 65,000 sq. metres and an expected participation of more than 75,000 visitors, 5000 delegates, 300 partners and exhibitors, 200 startups, 250 speakers, 200 live demos and product launches, and 1000 representatives from the media.

IMC 2019 will bring together industry leaders, international experts, global policy makers and academia to discuss, deliberate and showcase the latest industry technology trends around major themes such as 5G, Intelligent Edge, Immersive World, Privacy & Ethics, Autonomous Things, Smart Spaces, Augmented Analytics, Inventive Unicorn, Health and Future Logistics

New Delhi is the most strategic venue to host the India Mobile Congress, given its ease of access for global attendees and the fact that the central government is putting a lot of weight behind it.

There are Seven halls, which are dedicated to a technology conclave and a separate launchpad will be created for product launches. TV and other Media organisations will be able to broadcast straight from the venue as an entire studio setup is being created at the event.
