Shirish Agarwal assumes the role of Director-Marketing at Samsung India
Shirish Agarwal has rejoined Samsung India as the Director Marketing .
Prior joining Samsung, he was heading the Marketing Communications and Brand at Panasonic. He was responsible for the operations across the country. He was responsible for devising marketing strategy for new and existing products/services and driving sustainable and profitable growth for the company.
At Panasonic, Shirish is credited with many successful campaigns from the launch of Connected Living platform – Miraie, to numerous consumer durable campaigns. Some noteworthy campaigns include - #BakeMeHappy for Microwaves; #IntelligentHAI for the new range of AI enabled refrigerators; #KapdoKiImmunity for the Washing Machine range; #MeetTheFuture for AC Category.
Before joining Panasonic, he was associated with Samsung India as DGM Marketing. He started his career with Times Internet Ltd and Hewlett Packard as the Marcom Specialist in Imaging & Printing Group.
He has an experience of over 16 years and specializes in brand media and communication strategy, digital advertisement optimization, consumer insights, trade and channel marketing with a strong business & ROI focus.
Shirish is a result-oriented marketing professional with rich experience in Brand Management, Media & communication Strategy with a strong business and ROI focus.
He holds an MBA degree in Management & Marketing from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) Graduate School of Business, Seoul, South Korea.
