Shah Rukh Khan saves Aishwarya's manager from freak fire
Shah Rukh Khan came to the rescue of Aishwarya Rai's manager after her lehenga caught fire at Amitabh Bachchan's Diwali bash. The 53-year-old actor saved the life of publicist Archana Sadanand after her lehenga caught fire at the bash. According to a report in Mid-Day, the incident took place in the wee hours of Monday morning (October 28) when only a few guests were left at the party.
The report suggests that Archana is admitted to Nanavati hospital after she suffered 15 per cent burns on her right leg and arms. "Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn't know what to do. Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire," a source told the daily.
