Schneider Electric emerges as a DCIM Market Leader for 2013
The IDC MarketScape’s “Worldwide Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) 2013 Vendor Analysis” has named Schneider Electric as a Leader for its StruxureWare for Data Centers suite. The company has been recognized for the second consecutive year.
Schneider Electric has again been identified by IDC in the MarketScape as one of the vendors most likely to be a major player in the DCIM market over the next several years.
Soeren Brogaard Jensen, Vice-President, Solution Software, Schneider Electric, said, Having IDC name Schneider Electric a Leader in DCIM again is a remarkable achievement and confirms the strength of our strategy and vision for StruxureWare for Data Centers. Our customers have consistently benefited from the StruxureWare solution to solve their capacity problems over the past three years and we will continue to develop and innovate this market-leading DCIM solution to help customers, bridge the gap between Facilities and IT, and operate their data center as a business.
A DCIM provider with a global footprint, long history in the industry, and strong financial backing is often preferred by DCIM purchase decision makers. Schneider Electric has these qualities and is already present in many of the world's enterprises with its power solutions and global support services team,” stated IDC MarketScape.
Schneider Electric’s market-leading DCIM solution which was released in April 2013 is designed to manage data centers across multiple domains, providing actionable intelligence for both facilities, IT and c-level executives to balance availability and efficiency throughout the data center life cycle.
