Sabyasachi Sengupta becomes Gunnebo’s Country Manager and MD
Gunnebo has appointed Sabyasachi Sengupta, Executive Director – Finance, as the new Country Manager and Managing Director. Simultaneously, Gunnebo has elevated Som Gangopadhyay, currently Senior VP Bank Security and Secure Storage, to Deputy Managing Director and Executive Director – Sales and Marketing.
Sacha de La Noë, Chairman, Gunnebo India and Senior Vice-President Region Asia-Pacific, said, “Over the last five years, we have recorded very impressive growth in India, especially within the banking sector. Going forward, we will try to reinforce our dominant position in all the business verticals signalling the next wave of growth.”
Sabyasachi Sengupta has been associated with Gunnebo since 2008 as an Executive Director. Having worked with organizations like ABB Ltd, ICI India Ltd and Novartis India Ltd, he brings with him over 24 years of diverse business experience across different functional areas.
Som Gangopadhyay joined Gunnebo in 2009, and has been a key player in driving the success of the Bank and Secure Storage business in India. Som has had 23 years of rich experience within marketing and sales in organizations like Philips India Ltd and Canon India.
