“The e-Governance initiative of the Govt. of Odisha is aimed at providing citizen centric services and the internal processes of the government be on an online mode. In this endeavour, the entire industry as well as the government and citizens are equity partners. If you today look at the eGovernance scenario, as per Right to Public Service Act, we have to provide 330 services within a stipulated time frame. And these services can only be provided and benchmarked only when they are made available online. The government has on its part taken steps to make these services available online. Around 35 services are till now have been made available online. In next 1 year period, there are several such activities that are in the pipeline from different departments.”
