R&M attracts networking industry professionals at BICSI

R&M has conducted a technical seminar on '4PPoE Standard & Digital Lighting' at the BICSI India District Technology Seminar, held recently in Kochi.

The theme of BICSI revolved around "Evolution of ICT Infrastructure in loT and Co-Working" where key topics of cabling infrastructure management, smart building technology, next-generation data center solutions and futuristic smart connectivity solutions were discussed at length.

Shajan George, Technical Director at R&M India, conducted a detailed session on the importance and benefits of using 4PPoE standard products for LAN cabling' with added emphasis on prioritizing high power delivery and bandwidth requirements.

Supplying power to end devices over data cables is paving the way to more intelligent buildings and to the Internet of Things. Powering the end devices via the LAN is also reducing the effort involved in installation and completely facilitates new kinds of applications. R&M is supporting the combination of the data connection and power supply for intelligent LED lighting through a new generation of sturdy, versatile connection boxes.
