Ramu Patchala quits Huawei Telecom India

Ramu is an industry veteran has been working in Chinese telecommunication firm ,Huawei Telecom India as the executive director since October 2000,heading the public policy and Government relations in Huawei.

Ramu was an eminent speaker in various forms happening in Digital India. Digital India holds the potential to truly transform India from a developing into a developed economy. ICT infrastructure lies at the very foundation of the success of Digital India. I believe that as a nation we should allocate a fixed percentage of our GDP to be invest exclusively on creating, upgrading and maintaining digital infrastructure.

Ramu spoke on Digital India,which is transcending beyond eGovernance to every aspect in the life of an Indian citizen. ICT is deeply enmeshed in Digital banking, insurance, eCommerce, entertainment, eHealth, eEducation, KPOs, IT/ITES, modern manufacturing, transportation, agriculture and many such sectors today.

Recently, steps taken by Huawei along with T-Works, of the Telangana government, and tech major Huawei have joined hands to sponsor state-of-the-art prototyping facilities at T-Works. As part of the partnership, Huawei had supported T-Works towards procurement of high-end prototyping equipment, specifically advanced 3D printers, laser cutters and electronics pick and place equipment, noted the tech major in an official statement.

Ramu said that, through our partnership with T-Works' we aim to provide the Indian youth, entrepreneurs and makers with industry-leading infrastructure, facilities and training materials that will help them explore & realize their ideas into prototypes for real world applications.

Very recently, The income tax department conducted a search on several offices of Huawei and the IT department told that raids were carried out in Delhi, Gurugram and Bengaluru in Karnataka. Ultimately, Huawei has been barred from trials for 5G services in India. Let’s wait and watch for the next movements of Ramu to join in the Industry.
