Rajan Navani appointed to the Global Board of USIBC
Rajan Navani, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, JetLine Group of Companies has been appointed to the Global Board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC). With this appointment, Rajan joins the distinguished list of global and Indian CEOs and senior leaders on USIBC's 35-member board.
Formed in 1975 the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) serves as a direct link between businesses of the two largest democracies of the world. The council aims to serve as the voice of industry, supporting long-term partnerships that will nurture the spirit of entrepreneurship, create jobs, and successfully contribute to the global economy. USIBC represents top global companies operating in US & India and works with them to identify and advance key policies and further strengthen trade and investment relations between the two countries.
With a large vision to play a key role in the daily digital lives of 1.3 billion Indians and leverage that to impact the lives of 330 million Americans, JetSynthesys, JetLine Group’s digital foray, has made significant investments in building businesses to power varied consumer facing digital platforms as well as leveraging advanced technologies like AI, VR, and Blockchain to digitally strengthen enterprises globally. Rajan is personally providing leadership and strategic direction to new age businesses of the group.
Championing digital transformation, Rajan is part of eminent industry bodies including the chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) National Council on Future Businesses and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the National President of the India Digital Gaming Society (IDGS). He is also a founding trustee of the India@75 Foundation, chairing CII’s Council on India@75, which brings together various stakeholders aligning with the New India of 2022. Rajan is a trustee of Aspen’s Ananta Centre in India, the world’s foremost values-based leadership platform in the US. He is a founding Board Member of Indiaspora, USA, a powerful network linking the Indian American Diaspora in India. An alumnus of Purdue University, Rajan also serves on the Purdue-India Executive Council. He is also a Government of India nominated CEO of the India-Japan and India-Sweden Business Leaders Forum.

Along with Rajan Navani, Shekar Ayyar from VMware, Mallika Shrinivasan from TAFE and David Taghioff from Library Pictures International have also been appointed to the 35-member Global board of USIBC which includes William Thomas, Global Chairman of KPMG International, Sir Michael Arthur, President of Boeing International, Salil Parekh, CEO and Managing Director of Infosys, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chairperson and Managing Director of Biocon and Dr. Pawan Goenka, Managing Director of Mahindra & Mahindra, among others.
