Professionals on Linkedin will now be able to make TikTok style short videos
Following suit with leaders in the short form video domain like TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn is experimenting with similar feeds.
Professionals will now be able to make TikTok style short videos; with the only and most important demarcation between LinkedIn and Tiktok would be the content, the former shall stick to the career-related topics. The option is present in the app’s navigation bar under a new “Video” option. On clicking the button, it directs the user to a vertical stream of short videos that can be easily swiped through.

This new feature is in the testing phase and not available to users. It has the potential to provide creators with a new avenue to share their video content and reach a wider audience. There is speculation that LinkedIn may eventually monetize this feed to incentivize creators to post their video content on the platform.
