Price disparity between online and offline channel hampers offline sales
Sushil Kumar, State Coordinator, JCDA: "As I represent Jharkhand, the basic problem is the threat of online business and the price disparity between online and offline channels. We just say that a major percentage of the business comes from channel, but it is not the truth. Especially during the festive season, it is a very difficult situation for Tier-1 or Tier-2 partners to sell products. Moreover, the price disparity between the online and offline channels is huge. We are not opposed to supplying products to online channels, but the price difference should not be huge which hampers the offline channel business. "
