Power2SME’s CEO bags “Serial Entrepreneur India” 2013 Award
To felicitate the innovators for their contribution towards the development of entrepreneurship in India , Franchise India has recognized the Founder & CEO of Power2SME, R. Narayan as the “Serial Entrepreneur of the Year” at Entrepreneur India Awards 2013.
R. Narayan has been an entrepreneur for the last 14 years and has been working closely with over 2-lakh SMEs around the country for the last 10 years. He started Power2SME, the first “Buying Club” for SMEs in India with a vision of empowering SMEs and making a difference in the Indian economy. Before starting Power2SME, Narayan has set up Denave, India's largest technology-powered sales-enabling company with customers such as Nokia, Cisco, HP, Lenovo and Microsoft.
R. Narayan said, Winning the Serial Entrepreneur of the Year award in this year’s Entrepreneur India Awards is a great recognition of my vision to contribute to India’s economic growth. My next goal is to make Power2SME a billion-dollar company in the next five years, considering the growth potential of the SME sector, and I accept this award with great humility and it is an honour to be amongst a group of high-caliber entrepreneurs.
Narayan has more than 24 years of general management, sales and marketing experience. Prior to founding Denave, Narayan worked for Microsoft India, where he managed the SME segment and distribution business of the company. He has also worked with companies like Oracle, Tata Unisys and ICI.
