Pay ransom or I will use your website to sell drugs: Hacker to bollywood actor Pooja Bedi
Bollywood actor Pooja Bedi has previously fall prey to the cybercriminals. Bedi, who approached Goa police, in a complaint said that her e-commerce website was hacked and a cybercriminal is threatening to sell drugs from her website if she fails to pay the ransom.
“Dear @DGP_Goa my e-commerce website http://happysoul.in HACKED AGAIN last night & this time they state if i don’t pay ransom they will sell DRUGS on my website. I have registered FIR in old goa police cyber cell last week but no action from cops. My company regd in Goa @goacm,” Bedi tweeted.
Goa Police has registered an FIR under Section 66 of the IT Act. Goa’s cybercrime cell (CCC) team is in touch with the website developer’s technical team. Bedi resides in Goa and sells organic supplements from her website www.happysoul.in .
