Pacnet earns Accolades in CeBit Australia Business Award
Pacnet was awarded the Innovation Award by CeBIT. Au Business Awards for outstanding achievements in the Information and Communications Technology industry.
The CeBIT Innovation Award went to Pacnet for its recently launched Pacnet Enabled Network (PEN). PEN is designed to help enterprise and carrier customers rapidly and cost-effectively create the foundation of a virtual, integrated data centre. It is a fully automated software-defined networking (SDN) solution that provides a flexible and scalable service platform that is agile and has the ability to lower the total cost of network operations for its customers.

Customers of PEN, include companies spanning the IT, logistics, manufacturing and financial services sectors in countries such as Australia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and the U.S. With PEN, customers can provision network services between two locations in minutes without going through the traditional, long lead, manual provisioning process.
The CeBIT.AU Business Award for Innovation recognizes organizations that have made significant contributions to their industry through the introduction of a new idea, method, technology, process or application resulting in social, environmental and/or economic benefits.
