Pacnet bags Frost & Sullivan 2014 Award
Pacnet has received the prestigious Frost & Sullivan 2014 Asia-Pacific Data Communications Product Line Differentiation Award. The accolade is a testament to Pacnet's success in creating a differentiated value proposition for its data communications services in the region.
Pacnet has introduced Pacnet-Enabled Network (PEN) that leverages Software-defined Networking (SDN) to deliver flexible and scalable bandwidth configurable by customers, last November. PEN brings cloud provisioning to the network, enabling customers to self-provision and configure their network resources instantly as well as control network performance and quality of service parameters using a flexible pricing model and industry-leading SLAs.
"We are delighted that our innovation for data communications solutions such as PEN has been recognized for their ability to drive change and create market differentiations," said Jim Fagan, President of Managed Services, Pacnet.
This latest award for Pacnet validates the company's success in providing customers with scalable bandwidth as well as integrated software-enabled intelligence through Pacnet's network of data centers and undersea cable infrastructure. The company achieved the Innovation Award at the Asia Communication Awards (ACA) staged in Singapore and won the CeBit Australia Business Award for Innovation, where PEN was selected as an outstanding achievement in the information and communications technology industry.
