There could be several reasons behind this investment. Perhaps Telcos are looking to:
· Manage the increasing demand for cellular data driven by 5G and future 6G networks.
· Develop automated network management systems for efficiency.
· Offer new services that leverage cloud capabilities.
It is advised to Invest in solutions that facilitate seamless connectivity between on-premises infrastructure, public cloud environments, and multi-cloud deployments. This might include hybrid cloud networking solutions, virtual private networks (VPNs), and cloud interconnect services.
The study predicts the growth of 5G networks and the arrival of cloud-native 6G networks will result in a 110 percent increase in cellular data over the next four years. This growth will be driven by the rising adoption of data-intensive IoT use cases, such as automated manufacturing and vehicle infotainment systems.
Additionally, the report predicts that cloud technologies will be instrumental in enabling operators to achieve sustainability targets. Operators will use machine learning to automate network management; reducing power to network elements when user demand is low.
It is also advised to increase investments in network monitoring and analytics tools to gain visibility into cloud network performance, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues proactively. Implement solutions that provide real-time insights, historical trend analysis, and predictive analytics capabilities.
