Office subscriptions for SMBs
Microsoft is said to follow a new approach on how people buy the new Office. The details are being shared via the Office News Blog about the new Office subscriptions for consumer and small businesses.
It is claimed that there are two main ways people will be able to get the new Office - a subscription or a one-time purchase. Subscriptions to Office 365 is said to include all the Office applications, additional services product upgrades as soon as they're available, and access to Office on up to five PCs or Macs, as well as streamed access to full-featured Office applications on any PC.
Starting October 19th, any purchase of Office 2010 or Office for Mac 2011 is supposed to be eligible for a free upgrade to the new Office at the time of availability.
