Nutanix made important announcements at .NEXT Conference

At Nutanix’s .NEXT Conference, the company set forth four major announcements for different aspects of the business. The announcements look to holistically support customers and partners alike by increasing capabilities in the popular HCI software, offering Kubernetes PaaS, a partnership with Microsoft Azure for a seamless hybrid experience and a new simplified global partner program.

Market Leadership with New HCI Software Innovations - Nutanix today announced major new capabilities in its popular hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) software, delivering significant innovations to the datacenter and cloud markets. Today’s announcement highlights Nutanix’s commitment to innovation to meet emerging customer requirements and further disrupt the industry status quo. With these new HCI improvements, Nutanix customers will benefit from: 50% Faster Performance, Simplified Zero-Trust Security, Virtual Networking to Simplify Cloud Deployments and Applications Insight and Automation.

Kubernetes Platform-as-a-Service for the Multicloud Era - Nutanix today announced Karbon Platform Services, a Kubernetes-based multicloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) with automated system-managed security, to accelerate the development and deployment of microservices-based apps across any cloud. This new cloud native PaaS will help software engineers to streamline application development and orchestration without needing to manage the underlying infrastructure. Karbon Platform Services builds on the core Kubernetes lifecycle management capabilities initially introduced with Karbon as an integrated component of the Nutanix HCI software.

Partnership with Microsoft Azure for a Seamless Hybrid Experience - Nutanix today announced a new partnership with Microsoft that will enable both companies to deliver a hybrid solution with seamless application, data, and license mobility as well as unified management across on-premises and Azure environments, using Nutanix Clusters on Azure. As a result of this partnership, Nutanix and Microsoft will deliver; Nutanix Clusters on Azure, Seamless Procurement and Support and Integration with Azure Arc.

New Simplified Partner Program for the Multicloud Era - Nutanix today announced Elevate, a global partner program designed to re-define the partner engagement journey. Elevate simplifies engagement for Nutanix’s entire partner ecosystem using a consistent set of tools, resources, and marketing platforms provided in the new Nutanix Partner Portal – making it easier for partners to outline their path to success. The program highlights will be detailed at Partner Xchange on September 10th, as part of Nutanix’s .NEXT Digital Experience conference, with additional program details to follow.
