NTT DATA inaugurates GSoC in Bangalore
NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Limited has announced the establishment of its Cloud Services Command Center at its Global Village campus called Global Service Operations Center (GSoC). This state-of-the-art facility enables NTT DATA to support its global customers in the areas of Remote and Cloud IT Infrastructure and Applications Management, with an enhanced capability to provide predictable, reliable, and cost-effective services. This new center is efficiently designed to meet the market demand for collaboration between services and technology platforms in addition to ensuring enhanced operations capabilities. John McCain, President & CEO, NTT DATA, Inc. and Marv Mouchawar, President, Cloud services, NTT DATA, Inc., were on hand to inaugurate the center today at the Global Village.
“The shift towards virtual data centers and cloud architecture challenges the conventional management tools for effective operations,” said Marv Mouchawar, President, Cloud Services, NTT DATA, Inc. “A GSoC like ours has a firm hand on the lifeline of any computing environment, including its networking elements.”
Post the inauguration, Kannan Ramamani, Senior Vice-President, Cloud Services, NTT DATA, said, “The new GSoC leverages NTT DATA’s rich talent pool in Bangalore to assure consistent and predictable service delivery, and create a positive impact to our customers’ business around the world.”
This facility is uniquely positioned with NTT DATA’s proprietary monitoring and management capabilities targeted to support companies across the manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, and retail industries. NTT DATA plans to interlink the GSoC in Bangalore with two additional centers in Tokyo and Louisville, Kentucky to ensure business continuity.
