NiYO names Vineet Sethi as new CMO
NiYO Solutions Inc., a new-age digital banking solution for the salaried employees, has announced the appointment of Vineet Sethi as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer. In this new role, Vineet will be responsible for driving NiYO’s marketing efforts and establishing the brand’s leadership in the payroll and benefits sector.
Coming with a solid 15 years’ of experience in the banking sector, Vineet has developed his expertise in consumer finance and employee banking. He began his career as Sales Manager at ICICI Bank and has spent 12 years at Standard Chartered Bank, handling various roles in sales. He was the Executive Director Head – Employee Banking in his last two years at the bank. He finally moved on from Standard Chartered to run his own startup, The Bag Talk- an e-commerce platform for bags. Vineet is a gold medallist from Goa Institute of Management and an alumna of Delhi University.
Vineet’s experience as the head of Employee Banking at Standard Chartered will help him differentiate NiYO as the only fintech startup operating in the field of payroll and benefits solution in the market. He will also develop a roadmap for the company to reach the unorganised workforce, for them to be included in the traditional banking system.
After successfully raising $13.2 million in Series A this year, this is the first senior hire by NiYO. The company is currently expanding their footprint across India, particularly in the industrial belts around major cities.
